HUGGY HEART Campaign

Did you know the HUGGY HEART is the national symbol of Community Action? It represents the spirit of our mission to address the underlying causes of poverty, alleviate its effects, and promote dignity and self-sufficiency in the communities we serve.

Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK) provides programs and services that meet children, families, and individuals at their point of need. Through the HUGGY HEART Campaign, your business or organization can help support this important work in Kern County.

How It Works

  1. Choose your month. Select the month your business or organization would like to participate.
  2. Choose a program. Select the CAPK program where you would like your fundraising proceeds to be applied.
  3. Sell HUGGY HEARTS. Display and sell HUGGY HEARTS at your business or organization throughout your selected month.
  4. Make an impact. Your support helps provide critical programs and services to individuals and families throughout Kern County.

CAPK will provide all the supplies you need to help make your HUGGY HEART Campaign a success. You provide the space, spread the word, and help your community give back.
