Community Action Partnership of Kern is making plans for a free community event on Sunday, August 13th to support our kids as they get ready to go BACK TO SCHOOL and we need your help in making it a success.
How to Support:
We are looking for compassionate individuals and community partners to help us with providing the children at the FRIENDSHIP HOUSE COMMUNITY CENTER in Southeast Bakersfield with the tools they need to start school and be ready to learn!
We are asking for donations of backpacks, school supplies or a financial contribution to support this event.
With your help, we can ensure that every child starts the new school year on equal footing–setting them up for a brighter future!
